Phaloesia saucia
''Phaloesia saucia'', the Saucy Beauty Moth or Saucy Beauty, is a moth of the Erebidae family. It is found from southern Texas〔(mothphotographersgroup )〕 to Venezuela.〔(Phaloesia at funet )〕〔(Taxonomic changes in the Neotropical Pericopina and Ctenuchina moths (Erebidae, Arctiinae, Arctiini), with description of new taxa )〕
Adults are on wing nearly year round. Adults feed on nectar from ''Crucita'', ''Eupatorium odoratum'', ''Aloysia gratissima'' and ''Sabal texana''.
The larvae feed on ''Tournefortia'' species, including ''Tournefortia volubilis''.〔(Bug Guide )〕

''Phaloesia fulvicollis'' was previously wrongly listed as a synonym of ''Gnophaela aequinoctialis''.
